The power of social media will have a positive factor on one of the many SD's Photogenic Models as she'll take home a lump sum of E10 000 only for getting the most likes on Facebook.
"This competition is not about beautiful but its about being a photogenic and showing people you can be who you are and still feel appreciated" one of the models said, with eagerness flooding her mouth. The final event where the photogenic queen will be crowned will be held at Happy Valley Resort at Ezulwini,Hhohho.
According to information gathered, the models have been through series of photoshoots from different places. What happens is that, each and every contestant's pictures are uploaded on Facebook by the agency,people like the pictures. In accordance to my belief, the crown is in their hands its up to them to advertise themselves,get people to like their pictures in that way, whoever leads will scoop the E10 000 prize.
We are eyes of local entertainment so I must say, I'm living to see the day when the one who got more likes is crowned and the one and only question I asked myself before lettering this was; does the camera love you, or you love the camera for you to be considered 'Photogenic'. To be honest we all know that the answer is you loving the camera,then in return it shall love you back.
